On the 4th of October, the Rhino Club took part in the Global March for Elephants and Rhinos in Stockholm. It was a worldwide march initiated to spread awareness about the poaching and killing of Rhinos and Elephants. Statistically each year about 35,000+ elephants and more than 1,000 rhinos are killed and raising importance about this issue is important.

The Rhino club especially wanted to take place in this march as we consider spreading awareness an important step towards saving the animals. We also made several posters during school hours so we could carry them during the march. The march was about two hours long and about 40-50 people took part in it. We walked from the Thailand Embassy till the Chinese Embassy as we consider the Chinese Embassy being hugely involved in the poaching of these animals. We carried posters, pamphlets, candles to raise as much awareness as possible. After the march ended we lit some candles outside the embassy and left all the posters so they could see the efforts we were making to demand a change from them. During the march we met a lot of people and many of them encouraged us for what we were doing which was our main motive towards it. The march was a success as we raised awareness about this global issue.
