Stockholm International School is buzzing with excitement as delegates take their positions. Today the annual Model United Nations Conference is being held by the IBDP MUN group at SIS. This year we have invited several students from schools around the Nordic region. We are happy to welcome the students from: Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm, Oslo International School and the International School of the Stockholm Region. This year we have just under 300 students participating in the SISMUN. This year the topic for the SISMUN is “Disease – Sharing Responsibilities for Prevention and Treatment”. The different committees will be discussing epidemics and how the international community can respond to the epidemics effectively and quickly. We will throughout the day be updating the Quirky Quibbler with news reports about all the different committees and debates. We are thrilled about this day and hope you are too!
