This week we are continuing our leader series by introducing the new school principal, Mr David Osler.  Mr. Osler, previously the Primary School Principal, became principal for the whole of SIS at the beginning of 2o16. As of the beginning of this year, SIS now has a whole school principal and 3 vice principals.

Mr. Osler Mikal B.

The school’s new principal, Mr.  Osler is an approachable administrator with a vast experience and deep knowledge in his new responsibility. He finds his new position exciting as it as involved a transition from his traditional approach to management.

In his role, he hopes to develop all teachers professionally and that this in turn will translate into high standards of knowledge for students. Mr. Osler acknowledges that his new role has deepened his understanding of secondary learning and which he finds very interesting.

However, his new position is not without challenge. He admits that he is trying to figure out new ways of management especially in dealing with the unknown and that the new position also has brought many new responsibilities.

Mr. Osler is optimistic that teachers and students will continuously reach for  high standards of learning. It is with no doubt that Mr. Osler is committed and dedicated to realising a great vision for the school. The Quirky Quibbler wishes him success in his new administrative role.
