 At this time of year we can assume that many of you have been staying inside and have not gone out much. The cold doesn’t bring any motivation to do anything outside of the warm indoors, which is a problem, and a solution is ice-skating! The above introduction may not apply to everyone, but ice-skating is nevertheless one of the most popular winter leisure activities. It is a fun experience both on your own and with friends. A great place for ice-skating in Stockholm is the rink at Kungsträdgården which is located at Jussi Björlings Allé 5 (111 47 Stockholm). The upside to the winter, excluding it’s subjective beauty, is that it provides us with the possibility to do fun activities such as this. The place is open everyday from 9:00-21:00 and throughout the hours, there is always music playing which means that the atmosphere is upbeat and there is never a dull moment.  It’s free to skate at the rink if you have your own ice skates, but if you don’t, you can rent skates (in most sizes) for 30kr, and helmets are free. You can also get your ice skates polished or sharpened at the place. In addition to the rink, Kunsträdgården is surrounded by numerous shops, markets and restaurants. Do not miss out on the fun, and go ice-skating!
