Pros and Cons

ETS2 is the type of game where the player can just sit back and expect to drive for many hours on end. The dynamic weather and day/night cycles provides for a rich and enhanced gameplay experience. However, ETS2 is not exactly your typical simulator meaning that even in the most realistic mode of driving, the arcade-ish feeling is still there.

Despite its many features, the game can get buggy. Sometimes the AI doesn’t do as it should, this can get frustrating because they either slow the game down or take all the realism away from it. Additionally, the driving distances are very long so occasionally the game can feel empty but this is only when the AI is behaving out of context. Though the upside to this is that the game is updated regularly to solve these issues.

With all its flaws aside, the game can be immersive, but more than anything else, the game is relaxing to play. However, if you are looking for an action packed game of any sort, avoid ETS2.
