The week starts in comfort on Monday with Pyjama Day, so wear your favorite pajamas and get cozy. Don’t miss the Rock Paper Scissors challenge during morning break. Everyone’s welcome to join and show off their competitive spirit! It’s not just for students; many teachers will be getting involved too, forming teams and encouraging each other. On Tuesday, get ready for Clone Day, where you can pair up or form a group to dress alike, so let’s get creative and have a blast together. Wednesday is House Theme Day, so show your house pride by wearing your house colors or anything that represents your house because dressing up earns house points—let’s rally together and make our houses proud. Thursday is National Dress/Costume Day, celebrating our diverse cultures; wear your national or cultural attire or even create a mix that reflects your unique identity.
We’ll also celebrate UN Day, with DP students escorting primary kids to various activities and also have a guest speaker Annika Sandlund from the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), marking the first time we’ve had a speaker on-site since COVID.
Finally, we will wrap up Spirit Week on Friday with a Halloween-themed dress day. Get creative with your costumes, but remember to keep it appropriate. The SPC has also planned some fun activities and treats to end the week.
Let’s make Spirit Week a time to connect, have fun, and show our school spirit.
