We enjoyed summer while it lasted. I did for sure, but now the cold is slowly roaming the streets of Stockholm. It’s clear the days have become darker and people are beginning to wear their coats. I even heard people saying ‘hot chocolate season’ has started and it’s obviously the time to rewatch Gilmore Girls! The cold is coming towards us and we must enjoy all the festivities it has to offer.
I hope SIS students are up for a challenge, this time, I want all students from Grade 6 to 12 to encapsulate the Winter festivities in a comic. This comic must have 3 to 5 panels. It can be drawn on paper or any online platform you feel comfortable with, as long as it’s your authentic work. Your comic can be any interpretation of what you think winter is.
All comics drawn must be shared with us through this link. Please make sure they are PNG or JPEG files. These comics will be included in the upcoming Print Edition as well as showcased in the Cafeteria. All students who share their comic with us by November 11th, will receive a treat.

Can the 3 to 5 panels can be separate pictures, or do they need to have a storyline?

yes – that is perfectly Ok

Can it be done on Canva and using the elements like a human or snowman or does everything have to be drawn even if you use an online platform

Yes – you can use canva or other online platforms. As long as the idea is your own.

Yes it can.
