On the night of the 17th of January, the Under the Stars high school dance took place from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm in the Aula.

The Aula was decorated with enchanting fairy lights, a disco ball and a red carpet. The beautiful venue truly set the mood for the entire evening. There were also colourful lights changing from colour to colour as the evening passed on. There was also a photo booth, a drinks station and a pizza station! The decorating team truly outdid themselves!

As for entertainment, from 7:00 pm till 8:30 pm, the school’s very own band, The Confidentials performed all of the latest hits, including my personal favourite ‘Die with a Smile.’ This performance was incredibly engaging and really cool to listen to live, and the se

It was simply amazing. At 8:30 pm, a DJ was supposed to come on, however,r unfortunately, the sound system ended up not working, as only the instrumental of the songs came on, however the issue was quickly resolved as music was instead just played from a student’s phone, which was really great if you had suggestions that you wanted to be played. This created a great atmosphere.

All in all, the whole evening was just really great, and it was the perfect place to relax, talk and dance with your friends after all of the stress of schoolwork. A special thanks to The Confidentials and all of the parents and teachers involved in the planning and execution of this lovely event and for making it a night to remember.
