The Norra Latin atrium was turned into an art gallery full of all the students’ hard work and art skills. There were boards filled with the creative and skillful artwork of students of all grades with a great variety of genres and topics. The effort and talent put into the artwork was evident.
Some notable boards and exhibits were; the grade 7s who focused on renaissance style paintings, where the paintings all had a vanishing point, a technique created and used during the renaissance.
The grade 9s created short filmed advertisements which were playing on a tv screen continuously.
The grade 10s did photography, where there was a board filled with artfully composed and edited photos.
And the grade 11s did paintings with an area of focus, and identity through objects. Bryan H. said that the grade 11s worked hard on their paintings, he himself had searched up runes so that he could have accurate writing on the books in his painting!
On the other side of the floor students bravely went to demonstrate their skills with their instruments, they played group and single pieces, with the music flowing throughout the whole school.
The whole showcase was a wonderful collection of students’ skills, which they bravely presented for everyone to see.
