Graduation in Groups
The class of 2020 have graduated!
Graduation was very different from previous years and this applies to the “utspring” as well. Graduation at SIS ends with a Swedish graduation tradition known as “utspring.” This is when all of the students run out of school and are met by friends and family holding placards of the students as children. In previous years, the whole grade ran out together and were met by a crowd of friends and family. Out of respect for covid-19 restrictions, the group of friends and family was significantly smaller this year. Also, the students ran out of school in small groups which can be seen in the photos.
