As MUN has begun, interesting topics are being discussed in 6th grade. One class had “ban on homework” as their topic. Students were nervous but spoke up with the help of the chairs. The chairs were communicating well with the students by encouraging them to speak, using humor to make them feel comfortable, and helping them when needed. This led to better engagement. On the other hand in another 6th grade class, the topic being discussed is the “ban on chocolate”. Students in this class were having fun with the topic and interacted well with each other.
