This team has been formed to enable everyone to participate in interactive school reading times.

The first meeting of the Book Club was in November. It took place in the library room (Learning Commons). The theme was science fiction literature. Participants read different books in this genre and gave reviews. Students shared with each other their thoughts about this topic, gave advice and spent the time together discussing their interests. We talked about the plots of these books and what is interesting about them. We discussed different authors from this genre and fascinating facts about science fiction and its connection to writing. Everyone had a chance to express what they think about Sci-Fi and meet new people. There was a peaceful and cozy atmosphere surrounded by books, friendly community and fika.

For our next meeting we are planning on discussing a murder mystery book – Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. New members are welcome to join us on March 4 at 15.30 in the Learning Commons on the 4th floor. You can read the book before the meeting, or if you don’t have time to do that, you can come and listen and find out what our next book will be about.
