Art Exhibition

After a long, and vigorous time in IB Visual Arts course, the IB2 art students have finally had their art exhibition. This fascinating show exhibited the pieces of this year’s six art students. Their hard work over these past two years has been successfully  demonstrated.

A busy crowd of family and friends gathered for this important event. Each of theses students demonstrated extreme control, consistency and talent. Milda,  attracted attention with her colourful and interesting pieces. She said that it was challenging,  and gave one piece of advice for other art students, “Do everything that is fun for you, and everything you do should be for you.”

Similarly to Milda, Siska said that her entire art journey was, “challenging, fun and full of experimenting.” Before the start, Moia, said that the exhibition in itself was “exciting and scary, because you never know people’s reaction.” However, mid presentation, she said that she had received “good reactions so far.”

The students explored several forms of artwork, ranging from drawing, painting, photography, culture and more.  Mrs. Turner, the DP art teacher, said that she was “extremely proud of the students, and overjoyed about the turnout of this exhibition”.
