Apple’s annual conference is already behind us. During the event on Tuesday, September 12, a lot of time was spent presenting Apple’s contribution to the preservation of the environment by recycling more resources in Apple’s product making. The culmination of this was during the presentation of the next generations of Apple Watch and the most important Apple product, the iPhone.

Apple Watch Series 9 – The First Carbon Neutral Apple Watch

The first Apple product that was presented was the newest ninth generation of Apple’s smartwatch. The model will be available in four color options: midnight, pink, silver, and starlight. But the most important feature of this new Apple Watch is the “Double Tap” feature which will allow users to just touch 2 fingers together to choose the option on the screen instead of touching the display. As Apple announced, it will make the watch usable even if both hands are occupied, for example, while carrying groceries or walking the dog.

Another important feature that was presented is the improved “Find My iPhone” function, which will present on the watch display the distance to the user’s iPhone, as well as the direction where it is positioned.

The HomePod integration was also presented, which will allow, like with the iPhone, to automatically transfer the played audio content from the Apple Watch to the Apple’s intelligent speaker. Additionally, Apple highlighted that the screen of the Apple Watch Series 9 will be able to display content with a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, twice bigger than the maximum brightness of the previous generation of the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Series 8. When it comes to the battery it will allow a user to use the watch for up to 18 hours on one charge.

The price of the Apple Watch Series 9 will start in Sweden from 5695 kr.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 – The 2nd Generation Of The Best Apple Watch In History

Apple Watch Ultra is Apple’s smartwatch series directed at people practicing sports professionally, presented for the first time during last year’s Apple Event. Same as the Apple Watch presented in the previous subtopic, this watch is also carbon neutral. When it comes to improvements, they’re similar to the ones implemented in the Apple Watch Series 9, such as the “double tap” function, improved “Find My iPhone” option, and higher display brightness, up to 3000 nits.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 will have functions dedicated to people who are just sport-active too, as it is incredibly helpful in difficult atmospheric conditions. Flashlight boost, depth session logs, elevation range between -500 and 9000m above sea level, support for diving in the water up to 40 meters, and a modular watch face that will make possible to display all necessary physical parameters quickly.

The battery performance will remain unchanged. This is up to 36 hours on one charging and up to 72 hours on the Low Power Mode.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 will cost 11 495 kr in Sweden.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus – The Dynamic Island Arrives

The new generation of the cheaper iPhones, both the smaller iPhone 15 and bigger iPhone 15 Plus, will have Dynamic Island, the feature known by the users of iPhone 14 Pro presented last year.

Those new iPhones will be available in five color variants: black, blue, green, pink, and yellow.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will have 2 camera lenses: the main 48MP one and the 12MP telephoto one. About photos, according to Apple, portrait pictures will have better quality.

The improved “Find My Friend” function will be applied, which will work similarly as the new “Find My iPhone” on the new Apple Watches.

Also, in the US, roadside assistance via satellite will be available.

Additionally, the new iPhones, the same as the new Apple Watch Series 9, will get a display with a brightness of up to 2000 nits.

However, the biggest novelty is the replacement of the charging point from Lightning to USB-C.

The batteries of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will allow users to use them for up to 20 hours of video playback for the first one and 26 hours of video playback for the bigger iPhone version.

The prices of those new iPhones in Sweden will start from 11 995 kr for iPhone 15 and 13 495 kr for iPhone 15 Plus.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – Titanium Case With The Action Button

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in terms of the visual aspect look very similar to iPhones 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max that were presented last year.

In terms of improvements, they got the same as the ones implemented in iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

What is new to the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is the “Action Button” in the titanium case which will replace the silent switcher and could be programmed in any way, for example as the button that automatically takes photos or activates “Do Not Disturb” mode, based on the user’s preference.

Also, in terms of hardware, the new A17 Pro chip with built-in ray tracing will improve the game graphics quality while keeping the game performance smooth.

When it comes to battery performance, the new iPhones from the Pro series will allow users to use the iPhone 15 Pro for up to 23 hours of video playback and the iPhone 15 Pro Max for up to 29 hours.

The new prices of those iPhones in Sweden will be as follows: 14 995 kr for iPhone 15 Pro and 17 995 kr for iPhone 15 Pro Max.
