There has been a new addition to the list of numerous clubs at SIS; the GSA – Gender & Sexuality Alliance, supported by Ms Eadon, but led by students with the aim of making the school a place with more representation for queer students.

On Tuesdays from 12.45 – 13.35 in room 311 you can join a group of students to talk about just about anything in a safe space. The club does not currently have a specific outcome or end goal it is looking to achieve, nonetheless, it aspires to be a safe area for students to feel comfortable in. Whether it is bringing up what could be done to further celebrate diversity at SIS or sharing information about LGBTQIA+ events in Stockholm, everything is welcome.

The club has a webpage with more information as well as a list of online and in-person resources for LGBTQIA+ students as well as anyone else interested in learning more about the Queer community. For example, there are links to informative websites about trans-affirming healthcare or pronouns in different languages. If you are interested in sharing any resources or relevant information you believe should be on the website, the site has a form attached to it where you can anonymously add the link to an informative website.

Here is the link to the website: GSA SIS

Anyone can join, plus there are snacks!
