ANSWER. THE. PHONE. “HARRY. YOU’RE. NO. GOOD. ALONE.” Clearly, our prayers have been heard, and the British pop singer decided to make a comeback. After a three-year hiatus, Harry Edward Styles announced his fourth studio album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” set to release on March 6th 2026, with the first single coming out this Friday, January 23. Over the past few days, posters have been seen in cities all around the world, including Stockholm, where fans found a lit-up screen, “We Belong Together” in Södermalm. In New York, the posters said “See you very soon”, in Manchester, “Here we go again”, and São Paulo got the message (in translation) “We’ll see each other very soon”. Additionally, his website was updated, and the advertisement for his previous album, “Harry’s House”, had vanished, now showing a blank screen with a single black arrow pointing downwards towards an interactive ‘SIGN UP’ button. This was no coincidence, and it was inevitable that something was on its way.
Around a week ago, a live video premiere appeared on Styles’ YouTube, with no further information. All we were given was the title “Forever, Forever”. Considering this was so out of the blue, we were ecstatic, yet after a 30-minute wait and an eight-minute video, we were let down– no announcement, no album, just a reminder that our precious Harry was gone. The video simply displayed a montage of Harry playing a piano ballad at his last HSLOT, or Love On Tour show, on July 22, 2023, in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Though we were relieved to know he was still alive, we closed our computers with nothing but sorrow.
The former One Direction star had been touring for 22 tiring months, performing over 170 shows across seven different legs. Approaching the closing night, he announced that he would “go away for a while” and took the occasion to play a fan favourite “Falling”. While it broke fans’ hearts, he needed the well-deserved break. Since then, the artist has been spotted running marathons all over the world, including Tokyo and Berlin. Styles is evidently known for his music and acting in Don’t Worry Darling, among other movies, but little did we know that he was an excellent runner, completing 42 kilometres in under three hours! A lot of his time has been spent in Italy and London, drinking coffee, biking, and of course, running, where fans frequently documented his excursions through selfies on social media. Thirty months after his last gig, he announced a new and highly anticipated album.
With 12 new tracks, including his new single Aperture, this project was produced with Kid Harpoon, a British songwriter and producer who’s worked with artists and bands such as Shawn Mendes, Miley Cyrus, Haim, Florence + The Machine, Shakira, and the king himself, Harry Styles. Though no one knows what to expect, the HSHQ community sent out a six-second vocal message, featuring a voice singing the same line we’ve been seeing for days, “We Belong Together”. Some might say it’s Harry Styles’ own voice, but others have been posting their theories on TikTok, pointing out that the voice does sound similar to one which we all know, an Irish singer and songwriter who was previously in the same band as Styles, the one and only, our beloved Niall Horan. This is just one of the many predictions that have been posted online, but we’ll only find out on March 6th, the day of our rebirth!
