Students and staff came together last Saturday to celebrate diversity and global culture during this year’s International Day, an event that transformed the school into a vibrant showcase of traditions from around the world.
The campus was lined with colorful stalls representing a wide range of countries, each offering visitors a chance to experience different cultures firsthand. From tasting traditional foods to trying out cultural games, students eagerly explored what each booth had to offer. The variety was a highlight of the day, with everything from sweet desserts to savory street food drawing long lines and curious crowds throughout the day.
Many stalls also featured interactive activities. Visitors could learn simple phrases in new languages, participate in traditional games, or even try on cultural clothing. It made the event feel more engaging and gave people a chance to actually experience different cultures, not just look at them.
Live performances added energy and excitement throughout the day. One of the standout moments was a lively mariachi performance, which drew a large audience and brought a festive atmosphere to the event. Music and dance from different cultures followed, each performance offering a unique glimpse into traditions from around the world.
A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to making the day run smoothly, as well as the SPC for organizing and supporting the event. Their hard work played a key role in bringing the celebration to life.
International Day not only celebrated cultural diversity, but also strengthened the sense of community within the school. By the end of the day, it was clear that the event had succeeded in bringing people closer together, one culture at a time.
