Indian Street Food
Indian Street food & Co is a food truck and catering service handled by Karan Singh. They serve delicious street food around Stockholm and have recently also been to Finland. Indian Street Food creates modern Indian cuisine inspired by food vendors on the streets of India. By blending tradition with modern tastes and sustainable ideals, there mission is to raise the ultimate Indian dining experience, wherever they go.
We interviewed Karan Singh.
- How has the past year been for your food truck?
It has been great. We have received a lot of encouragement and appreciations during the past year.
- Why did you want to sell Indian street food?
Indian street food has never been served in Sweden before and we wanted to take this opportunity to be the first one to do that.
- What is your speciality?
Kathi rolls with chicken and Paneer(cottage cheese)along with mango lassi are our specialities.
- You recently just won the award for this year’s best street food in Sweden. How does it feel?
It feels great but then also a challenge that we have to be able to serve the best street food in town will work hard for it.
- What have the reviews been for your food truck up ’til now?
We have been rated with the highest score – 5 stars.
- Are you planning to open more food trucks?
Yes we added two more in the fleet in the first week of April.
